First you will need some sunlight! If you don’t have the real thing use a full spectrum light bulb.
1. Look into the sun for 16 seconds with eyelids gently closed leaving a small gap. Look away and back to the sun three times.
2. Gently massage eyes with fore fingers and keeping eyes closed notice the colours that are present.
3. Keep colours in your visual field for as long as is possible and notice if the colours change. Two minutes is about as long as I have managed! If there are no colours at first don’t worry.
4. Move your eyes up and to the left and hold for 16-20 seconds and then up and to the right for 16- 20 seconds.
5. Do the same for down and to left and down and to theright.
6. Now move your eyes to the left and then to the right. Hold both postions for 16-20 seconds
7. Now focus your eyes on your nose and hold for 16-20 seconds.
8. Now focus your eyes upwards towards your brow. This will instantly slow your brainwaves inducing an alpha state.
9. Now focus your attention inwards to the tip of your tongue and hold for 16-20 seconds. This will improve your sense of taste!
10. Now take a piece of written material and place it a comfortable distance for reading. Each day as you practice these eye movents step a little further back and begin to read whatever delightful material you have in front of you. You can also reverse this process by bringing it closer to you unill it is nearly touching your nose.
By practicing these simple eye movments each day you will improve your sensory perception.
